Safety Road Improvements October 3, 2007 - PFC material poured on SH71 hill east of Bee Creek road. March 8, 2008- Safety and Caution signs placed in S curves west of Bee Creek Road March 31, 2008 - Speed reduced on Hwy. 71 west. May 2008 - New guard rails on bridges west of Bee Creek road. June 2- 2008 -Falconhead West- The plan is to widen the road. New shoulders with a deceleration lane for Westbound traffic and a left turn lane for Eastbound traffic. The target complete date is mid August June 8, 2008 - TxDOT began preparing road for PFC material west of Bee Creek Road on Hwy.71
